TCNJ Competitive Gaming Club Graphics

October 2015 - April 2019

During my studies at The College of New Jersey as an undergrad, I joined the then-referred-to Competitive Gaming Club, a student-ran organization dedicated to hosting video game tournaments on campus. Simultaneously acting as an event organizer as part of its Executive Board, I assisted with advertising our (mostly) free events on campus by creating and designing flyers, artwork, and other promotional assets.

Every semester, the winner of the previous semester's last, widely-attended Smash Bros. tournament would come up with the name and theme of this semester's tournaments. It was up to me to take their idea and bring it to life; it was also a good incentive for our community to practice and train in hopes of having the chance to immortalize your own tournament series in our club's history.

All of the graphics and assets designed for the club was done in the free image-editing program called GIMP. These were frequently used on advertising our events on social media as well, including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Twitch.tv, and Smash.gg.

The Competitive Gaming Club requested me to help with the future of their club as TCNJ Lion's Gaming starting in the Fall Semester of 2019. This is the logo I designed for their rebranding.
